As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility,on 22 March 2012, Hapaweb Solutions held a workshop for ten senior high schools in the Ashanti Region as part of phase two of the Free Digital Schools Project. The workshop was primarily focused on training the twenty teachers who attended on how to manage their school’s websites that had been designed by Hapaweb Solutions (using the WordPress CMS) as part of the Free Digital Schools Project.

The schools involved were:

  6. Kumasi Wesley Girls Senior High School (http://kwgh.edu.gh/)
  7. Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School (http://okess.edu.gh/)
  8. Prempeh College (http://prempehcollege.edu.gh/)
  9. St Louis Girls’ Senior High School (http://stlouisshs.edu.gh/)
  10. Yaa Asantewaah Girls’ Senior High School (http://yagshs.edu.gh/)

 The teachers were taken through the following topics:

  • Key features of the school’s website
  • Introduction to G Suite for Education (Formally Google for Education) (Formally G Suite (Formally Google Apps for Education))
  • Creating emails for single users on G Suite for Education (Formally Google for Education) (Formally G Suite (Formally Google Apps for Education))
  • Creating bulk emails on G Suite for Education (Formally Google for Education) (Formally G Suite (Formally Google Apps for Education))
  • Other Areas of the G Suite for Education (Formally Google for Education) (Formally G Suite (Formally Google Apps for Education)) Dashboards
  • Managing Users,  Posts, Image Slider and Image Gallery
  • Managing Pages
  • Sending Bulk SMS using the Hapaweb’s SMS service
